OXO is a turn-based strategy game made in collaboration with Bee's Knees Games. I handled the art, animation and music, and Jake Card and Jessica Card handled the programming, project management and game design.
We made it as part of a two-week challenge put on by Portland Indie Game Squad, with two prompts: 'Turn Based' and 'Alternate Timelines.' It was very unfamiliar territory for all three of us, and in the end we wrapped up feeling pretty proud of what we accomplished in two weeks. Bee's Knees Games did a really fantastic and thorough write-up on our whole ideation & development process:
